Dr. Lamont Tyler Bunyon
Lamont Tyler Bunyon is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a graduate of Hampton University (1994) and the New England College of Optometry (1999).
Dr. Bunyon has practiced in the Prince Georges County and Washington, DC areas for fifteen years.
Dr. Lamont Bunyon was awarded the 2012 Optometrist of The Year by the Maryland Optometric Association for the State of Maryland for his outstanding leadership skills and service to the profession, patients and the community. Dr. Bunyon serves as the First Vice President of the Maryland Optometric Association and the Treasurer of the National Optometric Association. Additionally, he volunteers with the Hampton University Alumni Association, the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the Mt. Ennon Baptist Church. Lamont is a proud father of two boys and a lifelong comic book collector.
Dr. Mesheca Carter Bunyon
Mesheca Carter Bunyon is a native of Richmond, Virginia, a graduate of Morgan State University (1995)and The Pennsylvania College of Optometry (1999) and has been in private practice for fifteen years. She serves as the Region I Trustee for The National Optometric Association and as the President of the Central Maryland Optometric Society of The American Optometric Association. Mesheca spends her free time with her family, acting in local plays and volunteering with Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.. Dr. Bunyon is a staff optometrist for the Kaiser Permanente Camp Springs Medical Center and specializes in pediatric eye care.
